STORAGE

Artist

Rabinowitch - 'Greased Cone'

1965

The main challenge of the artwork is the size and the problem it presents in relation to display and storage and the cost implication for both.  The work is larger than door capacity in most galleries -2.5mtr.  The work needs to be tilted on side to allow access.

My design resolved the challenges in the deinstallation process, transportation, and storage of the artwork, significantly reducing the costs for all areas and reducing the manual handling of the work.
